Reindeer Farm Visit & Short Sleigh Ride

The journey begins with a drive to the outskirts of Rovaniemi city to a traditional reindeer farm. There the local family herders will introduce you to not only the shy reindeers, but also to their lifestyles which have evolved throughout generations. After learning about one of Lapland’s majestic and biggest animals, sample being pulled by these big hoofed reindeers by sled. Afterwards, be invited to the farmer’s house where snacks and warm drinks will be provided along with your reindeer driving license.

      Please note

        A minimum of 2 full-paying adults is required for the tour to operate. A single traveller may join an existing group.

        Each reindeer sleigh is shared by 2 adults (except in special circumstances). A maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is allowed per sled. Final seating arrangements are determined by the musher on site.

        Thermal overalls and boots are provided. The total duration includes transfer time and clothes changing time.

        Pick-up service is included from selected locations. If your accommodation is not listed, please contact us to check availability.

        You will receive the final meeting time and meeting point via email.

        Failure to participate in the safari due to missing the meeting time or meeting point will not be eligible for a refund.
